Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – see our review here – was released in cinemas across the UK on 15th December 2016. One of the set locations for which was the Maldives, which played the backdrop for Scarif.
Without giving any spoilers away, during the film stormtroopers are seen wading through the (Indian) ocean, filmed in the Maldives. For Edinburgh departures, prices start from £3,619 per person, flying with Qatar Airways. The package must be booked before 31st December 2016 and is valid for travel in May 2017.
