This week’s selection of past and present tracks that will help you get past that pre-exam/May slump:

Bombay Bicycle Club – ‘Feel’

Built from a Bollywood sample this song definitely has some eastern influences. The latest offering from their number 1 album So Long, See You Tomorrow has a definitive summer festival vibe.

Lana Del Rey – ‘West Coast’

More sultry sounds from the controversial singer. Lana fans all over the world went crazy when this song was announced, to be released on her upcoming album Ultraviolence.

Kasabian – ‘Eez Eh’

The first track to be released from the new album 48:13, the duo are headlining Glasto this year and an album worthy of this top spot in the line-up should hopefully be the outcome.

The Horrors – ‘So Now You Know’

The second release from their new album Luminous, 3 years since their latest album. This single is a slice of the psychedelic dream pop that has become synonymous with this unique band.

Ed Sheeran – ‘Sing’

There’s such a huge buzz around this guy at the moment. Working with such huge names in music it is no doubt going to be a very exciting year, especially as he embarks on an international tour later on in the year.
