This Friday, Faulkner release their debut EP, Revanchist.
The Californian group, which formed in 2013, has already reached over 2 million views for their lead single, ‘Revolutionary’. This track is a blend of electrobeats and pop – the perfect anthem for the rebels and the misfits.
The group have sparked the interest of a number of music icons and producers, including: Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA, Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons) and J.P. Bowersock (Julian Casablancas, Ryan Adams). This interest led to the group heading to Rick Rubin’s Shangri La studio in Malibu to produce the tracks that make up, Revanchist – a fusion of rock, hip hop, indie and dance.
Faulkner is made up of Lucas Asher (vocals), Eric Scullin (vocals, synth), Dimitri Farougias (bass) and Christian Hogan (drums) – all hailing from LA. The group are certainly making their mark as a new band with attitude and an excessive supply of synths, rock and pop.
