Faulkner have debuted their new single, ‘Halo Me’ on iHeart Radio. On listening, it sounds much more like ‘hello’ than ‘halo’, which of course reminded me of The Killers’ ‘Human’ (the internet couldn’t decide if the lyric was dancer, denser or dead sir). For the first minute, Faulkner’s offering felt like the perfect backing track to a driving scene in a late 80s movie – think Heathers but edgier. This is always a good start to any track and it ploughed on nicely in the manner you would expect any track to. Not an instant hit, but certainly something that would grow on you after a couple of listens.
