Known mostly for the radio favourite ‘Budapest’, George Ezra is the man on everyone’s ‘Ones to watch in 2014’ list. The voice of a man much senior to his years is not what you’re expecting when first looking at the fresh faced 20 year old, but it certainly lends itself well to his raw bluesy style.

The Bristolian lad is very lucky to already have a Glastonbury performance under his belt after playing the BBC introducing stage last summer, so 2014 is no doubt going to behold many more amazing opportunities. His debut E.P Did You Hear The Rain? has earned him many sold out dates on his upcoming UK headline tour.

The title track is an ominous and moody blues influenced croon that shows us the more gravelly tones to George’s voice. Contrasted is ‘Budapest’ the very radio friendly melodic favourite of most of his fans. ‘Benjamin Twine’ I find to be the track which stands out and shows his musical maturity and songwriting ability, weaving a story and displaying his vocal range brilliantly. Just announced is his upcoming four track E.P ‘Cassy O’ which is sure to propel him to great success.

George embarks on a huge UK tour this month, a number of tickets are still available for selected venues here: www.georgeezra.com/#liveshows
