Jason Donovan to play 33 dates in UK tour

Jason Donovan is about to embark on a 33-date tour of his five-time platinum 1989 debut album, Ten Good Reasons, and his latest, Greatest Hits.

This is the first time Donovan has toured his debut album, and is the first time he has toured as a solo artist for six years. Ten Good Reasons was the biggest selling album of 1989 with three number one singles: ‘Too Many Broken Hearts’, ‘Sealed with a Kiss’ and ‘Especially for You’ (a duet with Kylie Minogue).

Jason Donovan said, ‘The response to the tour has been totally overwhelming. I have been shocked and humbled by the speed at which these shows sold. Ten Good Reasons’ was life changing for me the first time around and it’s already proving to be life changing again.’

Jason will be supported on his tour by Mon Amie, the four-piece girl band from The X Factor. Mon Amie left the show after Cheryl Fernandez-Versini controversially swapped them for gospel singers Melody Stone.

Jason Donovan said, ‘Mon Amie are a new, fresh, different type of girl band. I watched the girls debut on X Factor and was really impressed and can’t wait for them to join me on tour. Mon Amie are all about the strength in their vocals & harmonies, these girls need no gimmicks as their credibility, unique style of vocal and personality blends all four girls to a perfect match.’
