The release date of Meghan Trainor’s debut single ‘All About That Bass’ has been been brought forward to 28 September. After being played on Capital, Radio 1, Radio 2 and Kiss, plus MTV Hits, MTV Brand New and The Box, the song has wowed audiences across the country. The official video for the song now has 55 million YouTube views.
Meghan has also just confirmed her first visit to the UK, which will take place in mid-October.
‘All About That Bass’ was chosen as Radio 1’s ‘Track of the Day’ yesterday and has hit the number one spot in 25 countries to date, and is in the top 10 in a further 68 countries. The single is number two in the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two globally on Spotify.
Meghan met The Tonight Show’s host Jimmy Fallon and music legends The Roots to perform an incredible acoustic version of the song live on the show. You can view the performance right here:
