We’re excited to see that New Pharaohs are back with their latest single, ‘Nothing Without You’.
There are hints of The Cardigans, Stevie Nicks and even a Bond tune in this cinematic new single, which showcases New Pharaohs’ versatility and attention to detail. The band, led by vocalist Maya Marie, first made their mark last year with their highly-acclaimed debut ‘Empire’. Capturing something of the current political climate, ‘Empire’ was both a moving narrative and a melancholic backward glance at Maya’s childhood memories of the war-torn Middle East and her subsequent move to Europe as a refugee.
Second single ‘This Changes Everything’ switched over to symphonic and classy tones. It was quickly playlisted on Radio X and got heaps of airtime and support from BBC London Radio (Introducing).
The new single ‘Nothing Without You’ is out now and available on Amazon, Spotify and at the iTunes.
