Ahoy there, Vada film fans! After last week’s Les Invisibles giveaway, we’re very excited to follow it up with our second competition (of four) throughout October. Thanks to everyone who got involved last week, and for those who didn’t win, we’ve got plenty more chances for you to do so.

Network & Vada present: Out in the Dark

Our second film competition sees us team up with distributor Network, and this week we have three copies of the acclaimed LGBT drama Out in the Dark up for grabs. Out in the Dark is a love-affair that takes place across the conflict of the Middle-East. In fact, we like this film so much that Raks Patel reviewed it for Vada back in June, calling it a “much needed and powerful, international queer film”.

But don’t just listen to us. The LA Times label it “unique, powerful stuff”, Total Film say that it’s “by turns dynamic, dangerous and bursting with passion . . . a stark, swoonsome romantic drama” whilst the New York Observer remarks that “it’s one of the most powerful films about the Arab-Israeli conflict that has ever been attempted on the screen.”

For a chance to win a DVD, simply comment below mentioning what is your favourite article you’ve read so far and what you’d like to read more about next on Vada.

For those who don’t win, the DVD is released on Monday October 14th. It’s also available on iTunes and, or you can stream it through the official Facebook page.

You have until Monday 14th at 6pm to comment: go on, you know you want to!
