Why is the Samsung Note 10.1 2014 Edition the best tablet around?  It’s certainly not because of the name.

Specs

This Samsung Note tablet boasts high end specs, 3GB RAM, great viewing angles with a full HD display (2560 x 1600).  While my particular model only comes with 16GB, it is easy expandable with a microSD card (up to 64GB), it also comes with the Exynos® 5 Octa (1.9GHz Quadcore + 1.3 GHz Quadcore) processor, which does a great job of handling games and multitasking.  In addition to having some high end specs, with your Samsung Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet (Note 10.1 from now on), you can control your TV via IR blaster, play games (and share files) with other Samsung devices via Group Play.

S-Pen

My favorite thing about this table is the S-Pen.  Personally, I don’t like the Samsung Note 3 (due to it’s size – I like to run with my phone), but for this tablet – it is perfect!  What can you do with the S-Pen?  A lot of things, everything from doodling on photos, browsing the web, even typing (or swyping).  The S-Pen changes the experience of a normal tablet by providing the ability to draw on anything you see on the screen.  This is also great for taking notes, jotting down information and navigating the tablet.

Multitasking

Guess what most other tablets doesn’t do – multitasking.  Browsing the web and checking twitter at the same time – no problem!  Chatting with a friend on Google Hangout while searching for information on Chrome – yup, can do!  Need to use a calculator without leaving your current page – exactly!

Bundled Goods

Samsung pulled out all of the stops with this tablet and partnered with many companies to bring a better experience with your Note 10.1.  Included with this device are the following (may vary based on geographical location):

Google Play – $25 store gift card for apps, music, books or music
Boingo – 12 months mobile wi-fi access for new users
Audible – 3 audiobooks for new users
Zinio – 3 digital magazine for 2 months
Sirius XM – 3 months of SiriusXM Internet radio
Bloomberg Businessweek – 1 year free subscription
NY Times – 1 year subscription
DropBox – 50GB for 2 years

and more…

Long battery life, great display, awesome functionality, free stuff.  That pretty sums up this tablet and that’s why it’s been my favorite.  Not going to trash talk other tablets in this article.  I’ve had this tablet for quite some time and it’s the only one I consistently used.
