There are now thousands upon thousands of beauty products and companies out there, all with varying levels of innovation and things that you wouldn’t normally find in your normal beauty products.

Here’s a list of the top products that have things you wouldn’t expect in them.

Nicky Clarke Diamond Shine Pro Salon Blow Dryer

RRP £59.99 – Available from Argos and Boots

Infused with diamonds and ceramic the Diamond Shine range from Nicky Clarke is a glamorous one!

Having two speed settings, three heat settings and professional motor with diamond infused grill, this hair tool is fantastic for those who want to create a softer, more styled look.

Having tried this I would have to say that my hair did feel softer, shinier and it did look more texturized. 10/10.

Hope’s Relief

Start from £11.40 – Available from various retailers, independent pharmacies and hopes-relief.com.

Perfect for sensitive skin, Hope’s Relief uses ingredients inspired by nature to soothe sore, troubled skin as well as skin conditions such as eczema.

The Intensive Dry Skin Relief uses manuka honey, aloe vera and liquorice root to soothe the skin. Having won the, ‘Natural Lifestyle best personal/bodycare product 2013’ (as voted for by the public), it’s easy to see why the company has such a good reputation.

This range mainly uses goat milk to soothe and soften any irritated sin and is especially for eczema and psoriasis. The Moisturizing Lotion also uses Mango, Shea and Olive butters to intensely nourish the skin whilst the Intensive Dry Skin Rescue uses Manuka Honey and Liquorice Root to soothe itchy, dry sin.

My favourite is the Goat Milk body wash. This is easily the most moisturising body wash I have ever come across containing cocoa and shea butter as well as fresh goats milk. Whilst it doesn’t smell the best, it is a winner purely for not needing to put on body lotion after.

milk-shake Natural Care Mask

RRP from £15 – Available from milkshakehaircare.co.uk

Using Cocoa as well as a blend of yoghurt proteins and milk this highly nourishing, and delicious sounding, hair mask is perfect for brunettes as it helps to bring out the natural colouring as well as softening and treating the hair.

With each ingredient in their for a reason this treatment is fantastic at softening the hair and ensuring the hair is manageable whatever the weather.

H’suan Wen Hua

RRP £9.75 – Available from Lush stores nationwide and lush.co.uk

With Fresh Free Range Eggs listed as one of the main ingredients in a product, you would expect this hair treatment to be a little too weird. However, H’suan Wen Hua – translating as God of Hair – has plenty more to ensure that the hair is nourished, soft, shiny and overall just looking delectable!

With cinnamon, bananas, bayleaf and cinnamon to name a few, you know that this just has to be good for the hair. With Lush’s hair treatments, which were developed by trichologist and Lush founder Mark Constantine for London Fashion Week in the 1990s, they are meant to be put on to the hair when dry for twenty minutes, shampooing and conditioning after as normal.

Having tried this product many times it is definitely one of my favourites.

Yes to Cucumbers Body Wash

RRP £7.99 – Available from Waitrose stores online and in store

The Yes range is something that many people associate with skin care.

Featuring natural ingredients, this brand is fantastic for those that want to look after the planet and not just their skin. The Cucumber and Green Tea body wash smells amazing and is the perfect product for the Spring and Summer – it’ll cool you down and give you a fantastic fresh feel for the day ahead!
