Think of Wayne Lineker and most likely you will think of the ultimate party animal and adoring family man. However, in recent months the launch of accessory line Curbbz has further cemented his status as a respected businessman. Providing sought after pieces, with an array of options, this really is a range with serious staying power. The sheer dedication from his partner Rochelle Wood (art director) and business partner Adam Hirsch (Curbbz creator), has in turn seen this vision come to fruition.

In a very competitive market, so called ‘celebrity’ lines are often shunned and discredited. This is however unjust. With such a great range of bracelets available, I sincerely believe these will continue to prosper. The signature rubberised strap and highly polished metallic elements, give the bracelets an edge and a much understated elegance about them. One of the biggest trends this fall, was the resurgence of punk and grunge and these also harbour elements of this. Rather than just a passing faze however, the bracelets are readily available in many colours and it’s this unique selling point which ensures they are desirable to most.

Only launching a couple of months ago, the company has amassed an impressive following of over 5,000 users on its social media account Twitter. For a business in its infancy, this is not to be sniffed at. Celebrities alike have also donned pieces by Curbbz in support of this fabulous range, such as TOWIE’s Tom Pearce, James Lock and most notably the X-Factor’s Rough Copy. It could be said that Wayne has an advantage, with a plethora of well-known faces to promote his line, but this is a seemingly ignorant and narrow view to take. I know personally the hard work, persistence and sheer passion needed to invest in ensuring a product is well thought out and marketable. Wayne, Rochelle, Adam and their ever growing team all ensure that they do just that.

My stylist picks would come in the form of the Black/Gold & White/Gold colour ways. These are very eye catching pieces and drama and impact can be achieved, by stacking them up high. The Black/Gold piece in particular, is I believe the most universal, as it can be worn in conjunction with many different outfit choices. The subtle ‘Curbbz’ branding engraved onto the base metallic links, only seeks to add another point of difference and unique selling point, to these much coveted pieces

The official launch party brought fashionistas out in their droves and cemented this company, as one to be taken seriously. I can genuinely say I haven’t come across a product like this before and the desirability of them, is second to none. A truly great company, with an ethos to provide only the best service and pieces, I can see it further developing into a vast range. On a more personal level the strong paring of Wayne and Rochelle, has really brought the company to life. Rochelle a successful model herself, can be seen in the stunning campaign shots alongside Wayne’s ever beautiful daughter Tia.

So make 2014 the beginning of your Curbbz experience and I strongly recommend investing in more pieces.
