Well it’s that time of year again! It’s the spooky season – so you’ll have to get out your cauldron and prepare to brew some really nasty (read: delicious) treats to bewitch your guests with.
Here are some enchanting vodka-based concoctions for you to try. (Note: we used Smirnoff, but you can use any good vodka.)
Dracula’s Mule
This vampish drink comes with a real bite. The Dracula’s Mule consists of Smirnoff infused with raspberry jam – perfect if you have a sweet tooth!
Ingredients
- Tall glass
- Ice
- 35ml Smirnoff No.21 (one egg cup measure)
- 200ml ginger ale
- 2 lime wedges
- 1 spoonful of raspberry jam
- 10ml water
Method
- Mix jam, Smirnoff and water together in a glass
- Add the remaining ingredients
- Add ice and serve
Smirnoff Ghouls’ Goblet
This sweet and sour potion promises a frightful trick or treat experience for your Halloween guests.
Ingredients
- Tall glass (or martini glass, but apply half the measures of the below)
- Ice
- 35ml Smirnoff No.21 (one egg cup measure)
- 150ml ginger ale
- 2 orange slices
- 2 lemon slices
- 5 sweet gummy worms
Method
- Take an ice tray and add your worm gummy sweets to each square, then fill with water
- Add 1 to 2 drops of different food colouring in each and place in freezer
- Once frozen add ice cubes to glass with all other ingredients
