The Arch London Hotel is itself already a paradise for art and architecture lovers, with its displays of artworks by emerging London artists set in Grade II listed Georgian architecture. Therefore the recent announcement of the partnership with Paul Wayne Gregory, known for his chocolate art, seemed like a natural collaboration. Paul is most notably known for the production of a chocolate dress with designer Henry Holland and making a life-like model of Philip Schofield’s face.

His company, Paul Wayne Gregory Ltd specialising in designing and supplying bespoke centre displays, sculptures and hand crafted chocolates for any event. His chocolates also retail at Harrods in London with a selection box in which every chocolate has individually won an award.

‘The Festive Art of Chocolate’ masterclass will take place on the evening of 19th November 2015. Paul will host a three hour class at the boutique hotel. During the three hour session, guests will enjoy  tastings of Paul’s award-winning chocolates which are all hand decorated using Paul’s special technique of painting coloured chocolate onto the finished sweets to create a textured effect. Exquisite flavours include Salted Caramel and Passion Fruit as well as Hazelnut, Christmas Pudding, Spiced Rum, and Spiced Praline from the Christmas range.

As guests watch Paul’s chocolate demonstration martinis will be served. Attendees will then try their hand at making and filling their own truffles to take away after the event. There will also be the chance for guests to have a go at writing their names in chocolate onto chocolate canvases. As a piece de resistance, Paul will also exhibit one of his jaw-dropping edible paintings made completely of chocolate which guests will be able to taste.

To book your place at the masterclass, visit www.thearchlondon.com. or call 020 7724 4700, which is priced at £70 per person. The Arch London is located at 50 Great Cumberland Place, London W1H 7FD (a few minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station).
