Pommery champagne pop-up at the Signet Library

Adam Lowe

The Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar returns for the fourth year to the Signet Library on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. While flyerers launch themselves at punters on the streets, the festival sophisticates can be found here – trying lobster and sipping bubbly.

The Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar is open daily from noon until late with champagne afternoon teas, locally sourced seafood and sharing platters. The highlight of the menu are the oysters with house vinegar of champagne, gin, shallots and juniper; the decadent lobster; and the house burger.

The range of champagnes, of course, is great – and there are some tasty champagne cocktails to try as well.

The Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar runs until 25 August.
