Vegan eatery What the Pitta are set to launch their very own vegan gyros at their Brighton branch on Monday 18 November 2019. This follows their successful launch of the product at their Camden branch earlier this year.
What the Pitta are known for their unique vegan kebabs, which are made with non-GMO soy pieces and are marinated in a secret blend of spices. The kebab is then wrapped in handmade bread, dolloped with homemade hummus and tzatziki, and stuffed full of fresh salad.
And forget Greggs vegan sausage rolls (okay, maybe we’ve gone too far there…), What the Pitta were also the first to launch vegan nuggets in the UK earlier this year.
What the Pitta launched in London just three short years ago, and now have four locations: Boxpark Croydon (London), Boxpark Shoreditch (London), Camden (London) and Brighton.
For £6.50 you can get your hands on What the Pitta’s vegan gyros, which are loaded with soya pieces marinated in their signature secret spice blend, vegan tzatziki, tomato, fries and a sprinkle of oregano, all wrapped in authentic, hand-made pitta bread. Other items on the What the Pitta menu include a variety of purse-friendly meal deals and plant-based options such as doner kebab, doner chip box, mezze box, homemade falafel wraps and baklava.
