UK-based online doctor service Zava now offers PrEP therapy and advice, alongside its existing range of STI and HIV testing and treatment services. The service allows patients to safely and conveniently access the drug without a face-to-face appointment with a doctor from £49.99.
Zava can provide all required tests (which can be done at home). The service includes follow-ups from a GMC-registered doctor based in London to ensure patients keep up to date with testing and reorders of their medication, and have all the guidance they might need.
Zava can offer PrEP to high-risk patients who have never taken it before, or those already taking PrEP.
Patients answer a series of eligibility questions and are given advice about what tests are required.
Patients are also able to message Zava doctors about any aspect of the service for free, and will receive regular follow-up emails to make sure they know when to test again, when to reorder their medication, and to check everything is well.
The Zava PrEP service starts at £49.95 for a doctor consultation and a month’s course of the medication.
