Adam Lowe

Autumn turns our treasured woodlands into gorgeous wonderlands dripping with gold and ruby. To celebrate the beauty of the British Isles, DoubleTree by Hilton has put together a range of bespoke packages for nature-lovers who want to pamper themselves in the evening and explore the wilderness during the day.

Chester – Stay and Dine package from £120

This elegantly restored Grade II-listed manor house is secreted away on 12 acres of stunning grounds. With 140 fine bedrooms, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Chester is ideally situated to the picaresque Brook Valley -which is just a 30-minute drive away. Visitors can explore the Fords Rough, an area of ancient semi-natural woodland. There’s also the Dingle in the Woodland Trust’s Lumb Brook Valley, which has a mix of conifers and broadleaved trees.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Chester has a fabulous ‘Stay and Dine’ package, which includes an overnight stay in a King Guest room, a three-course dinner at the Hotel’s Brasserie and breakfast for two – all from just £120 per couple. Inclusive access to the spa is a nice little perk which will allow you to put up your feet and find your own inner zen after a day’s exploring. To book, call 01244 408 800.
