Cabaret seems to be the resurgent trend du jour, with many new shows opening across London, each with their own twist. We round up the best three for readers craving a Cabaret performance.
Luscious Cabaret at The Albany
The Luscious community promise to be more than just a cabaret, they’re a fun and fabulous family. For one night only, Divina Curves and Gigi Vin Rouge will be running the show, gathering together the best of the London cabaret scene for a spectacular night of burlesque, drag, comedy, music and spoken word.
All profits from this night will go to support the work of Free2B, an organisation who provide a much-needed safe space for LGBTQ+ young people and their parents. They provide youth groups, 1:1 mentoring, support for parents and training for schools and organisations. Proud Cabaret Embankment – Cabaret All Stars
Cabaret All Stars is a brand new Vegas-style show starring TV and West End star, Denise Van Outen. Starting from 5 March, Van Outen will make her remarkable debut hosting at Proud Cabaret Embankment. The show, Cabaret All Stars, choreographed by Proud Group Show Director, Jess Talbot-Smith will have an initial 6 week run. This spectacular showstopper will feature Europe’s most talented music, cabaret, drag and acrobatic acts, performing exclusively in the UK’s biggest and most opulent cabaret venue.
Each evening, Denise will take to the stage and introduce the audience to the unforgettable acts; perform six fun and fabulous crowd-pleaser hits herself, and then end the show with her grand finale. Show and Dinner guests will be treated to a delicious three-course menu with welcome cocktail while enjoying the spectacle.

Cabaret & Couture Life Drawing at The Wellington
Already established as one of London’s creative hubs (thanks to a music programme curated by Seb Fontaine), The Wellington Restaurant is to host an unmissable event that skilfully blends artistry and delectable dining.
Taking place on Wednesday 26 February, the immersive Cabaret & Couture Life Drawing event will transport guests to another world as some of London’s finest performers, designers and musicians entertain and inspire. With bold and exciting couture designs straight off the runway and creative sets by Mathew Lawrence, this is an art class like no other. The performances are spearheaded by the ultra-glamorous cabaret couture duo J’Adore La Vie, who recently thrilled at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Paris Fashion Show. There will also be experimental live music from the Circus of Bones and Gemma Wray.
