#manchesterqueens Beyonce Holes, Lill Queen, Marilyn Misandry, Gender Prince and Jack the Lad are poised to take over Sheffield with sequins and britches.
An evening celebrating drag with queens, kings and a prince.
An evening of decadent exploration.
An evening of glamour, confrontation and amusement.
An evening of revolution and revolt.
Welcome to Cabaret Re:Voltaire.
Conceived to bring together the edgy energy of a drag club with the louche aesthetic of Isherwood’s Berlin Cabaret Re:Voltaire brings some of Manchester’s most exciting drag performers to perform for the first time in Sheffield.
Drag is currently enjoying an unprecedented moment in the spotlight due to the popularity of RuPaul’s Drag Race but UK drag is a very varied creature with the Manchester scene recently being compared to the NYC drag scene in the international press (The New York Times, Dazed & Confused).
The audience are part of the performance; dressing to impress is mandatory.
An evening for the discerning, decadent and devilish.
Full price tickets get you ringside seating, drag dollars and treats. If your outfit is too big to sit, cheaper standing tickets are available.
Date: Wednesday 12 September, 8.30pm
Venue: Moor Theatre Delicatessen, Sheffield, S1 4PF
