What do you get when you combine a group of fabulous drag queens, with a good cause? Quite simply you get a gay old time and this is what lies at the heart of Essex based charity Cancer is a Drag, which fundraises to provide financial support and wellbeing to people and their families living with cancer.
In the last 12 months they have been able to raise over £5,000 at fundraising events and they are looking to continue to do so in a series of events all over Essex. What is more there raising money with the help of some fabulous professional and amateur drag queens.
The next stop on their cavalcade of chaos will be Chelmsford’s own Prism night based in the Miya Nightclub along with the likes of fabulous queens such as Stephanie Von Clitz, Regina Valentina, Daniella GaGa Manhole, Katherine LA mean and Miss Sugarcube. The night will be hosted by the amazing Queany Essex and even a guest spot to the cheap and tawdry Baga Chipz on 24 August 2014.
If you believe in supporting a good cause and fancy a night out with some tip top drag queens then this will be an event you cannot afford to miss, and a real highlight to this bank holiday weekend.
