The Donkey Show: A Midsummer Night’s Dream Disco is returning to London this June, for the first time in 15 years.  Proud Camden is excited to this sexy and psychedelic reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s Iconic play, from the co-creators of The Box.

To mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, The Donkey Show returns to the UK after a seven year run in New York. Proud Camden welcomes The Donkey Show: an unmissable experience inspired by the classic story of love, magic and mishaps, re-imagined to include dancers, disco balls and a retro seventies soundtrack.

‘We’re are thrilled that The Donkey Show is returning to the UK. The good people of London have always been our best audience with their great love in equal measure of dancing and Shakespeare,’ said Randy Weiner, creator of The Donkey Show.

The show includes classic disco hits including ‘I Will Survive’, ‘Carwash’, ‘We Are Family’ and ‘You Sexy Thing’. The Donkey Show can only be described as A Midsummer Night’s Dream meets Studio 54. This exciting experience will feature acrobats. disco divas, aerial artists and fire -reathers. The show has been watched by over a million people worldwide and is sure to create the ultimate disco experience in honor of Will.
