Disney and ODEON have planned an exclusive screening event of Beauty And The Beast live with a pre-show from the Disney Concert Orchestra and special guest singers, before the main feature film presentation. Special event screenings will take place exclusively at ODEON’s marquee venue, the ODEON Leicester Square, across the opening weekend of the film (Friday 17th March – Sunday 19th March). This live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.

The events will showcase orchestral concert performances of songs from the film and never-before-seen on-screen content, in a unique pre-show before the main feature, giving audiences an unforgettable celebration of the iconic music from Beauty And The Beast live before they watch this highly anticipated movie.

Featuring musicians from the Disney Concert Orchestra, and vocal performances from some of the West End’s most talented and prolific artists – the show also includes a newly filmed interview with Academy Award® winning composer Alan Menken, who offers his personal insight into how the extraordinary, multiple Academy Award® winning music, was brought to life for the original 1991 animated movie, and then updated for this new live action movie, starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Audra McDonald, Hattie Morahan, Nathan Mack with Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson. The pre-show also features the UK premiere live performance of one of Alan Menken’s newly composed songs for the film – ‘Evermore’.

The ODEON Leicester Square event show times are:

  • Friday 17th March – 8.30pm
  • Saturday 18th March – 8:15pm
  • Sunday 19th March – 8:15pm
