After the release of their popular debut album Only Bodies in August, Escapists have already made waves for themselves as hot property in the music world. Now the band have been announced as headliners of Elefest 2014 on 2 October.
Supporting the dark indie rock of Escapists will be indie funkers Movie, as well as psych rock ‘n’ rollers Lois & The Love. The 11th annual Elefest in South London will take place at The Coronet, Elephant & Castle.
The Escapists have had sold-out shows at London’s Borderline, Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, The Garage and The Lexington – and as such have already made themselves known as one of the capital’s most in-demand live bands.
Previous singles ‘Eyes’, ‘Blood’ and ‘Breaking It Up’ have netted over 350,000 Soundcloud plays between them and another single is due to be announced imminently. These guys are definitely one to watch for 2015.
