London’s most authentic Munich-style Beer Hall, Bierschenke, live and breathe Oktoberfest all year round. To support the second year of ‘gay Oktoberfest’ (which is of course much more fabulous), the venue is planning the return of QueerSchenke.

QueerSchenke (or Gay Oktoberfest) will be hosted by the lubricious Vanity Von Glow (she’s the Würst). With the LGBTQ community a firm part of Oktoberfest in Munich since 1970, Bierschenke are among the first to bring this aspect of the festival to London. QueerSchenke is taking place on Saturday 21 September, and will be a debauched, schnapps fuelled affair with Oktoberfest decorations, authentic German beers, traditional Oktoberfest dishes, a DJ, and outrageous entertainment for a night to remember.

So tighten your harness and gather your friends and lovers, dust off your Dirndl, leap into your Lederhosen and make a divine entrance to the QueerSchenke Gay Oktoberfest!

Entry is free, and for those wanting to book space (e.g. for large groups) can do so at bierschenke.co.uk.
