The moon ascends high above the horizon, setting the foamy waves ablaze in silver light. Like the scene from a music video, music encapsulates the scene as we turn and face the town. Every corner of this seaside haven is a glimmer with lights, laughter and of course music. Welcome to The Looe Music Festival, perhaps one of the best kept secrets of the Cornish coastline.

Here on the beach one can dance the night away to the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Black Velvet and Emily Park. Here talent from across the world meets for a weekend of adrenaline-pumping musical ecstasy. From the 19th to the 21st of September you definitely need to make your way to this Winner of the national 2014 Charity Award in the Arts, Culture and Heritage category. Some other talent headlining this year includes:

Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls

Squeeze
