Nine Worlds Geek Fest 2016 runs from 12-14 August 2016 at Novotel London West. It’s a three-day festival of overthinking, overtalking and overdoing everything related to books, films, TV shows, gaming, comics, cosplay, crafts, sciences, humanities, and the culture and creativity that underlie them all.
The festival places a special focus on diversity and inclusivity. Over 300 talks and workshops will be taking place across the festival weekend, including:
- Batman vs Troubling Portrayals of Mental Illness
- Queer Coding in Disney
- Shakesqueer
- Societal Structure in Fiction
- Imposter Syndrome and Individual Competence
- Figuring It Out- Non-Binary Gender in Contemporary Comics
- How To Cosplay On A Budget
- Geeky Biscuit Decorating
Tickets are £115 for the weekend. One day tickets are £45.
