They’re back, darlings!
Hot from promoting their film, Absolutely Fabulous’s Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley joined London’s Pride Parade accompanied by an army of Patsy and Eddies.
They were joined by some of London’s finest drag troupes, including Camden’s Family Fierce, who donned beehives, red lipstick and shell suits galore in tribute to the hit show.
Channelling the (somewhat dubious) fashion choices of her character, Jennifer Saunders modelled a delightfully bonkers green tracksuit jacket with scarlet basketball shorts and fetching high-heel clogs.
And as for Lumley? I think Patsy says it best: “Sex, bitch, aristo, sex, whore, bitch, slut. Oh but with lovely shoes.”
The float was sponsored by Stolichnaya vodka, the drink of choice for our favourite fashion editor (sorry Anna!).
