TRADE 2WENTY 4OUR Interview: Ian M.

Reggie Myers

It’s TRADE’s birthday time again! What are you most looking forward to about TRADE 2WENTY 4OUR?

Seeing all the TRADE posse, old/new and trying out some new tunes together with a few oldies for good measure.I might play something completely different, who knows?

What is your fondest memory about last year’s birthday at Egg London?

The amount of happy people down there, it was the event of the year for me. The atmosphere was electric and seeing some old faces, just capped it all off.

Which three people would be on your dream TRADE birthday guestlist?

Anyone who’s a TRADE virgin, Prince Harry  and Axl Rose – so we can refuse him entry again!

What are your current top three tracks?

‘Jurrasick’ by Dave Owens & Andy Farley – it’s very much like old school Tripoli Trax, but with a modern twist.

‘Ed the Head’ by Max Tailwind –  just listen for the bassline, and you’ll get it.

‘Nutta’ by Dark Element + Kieran Browne – tuff and bouncy with a nice vocal stab and topped off with the usual magic.

Name your ultimate TRADE anthem that you’ll be playing.

All the tracks off the 1st TRADE EP, because every track is different and every artist put 100% into it.
