An 18-year-old man from Tallahassee, Florida, is facing a charge of attempted murder after a sex hook-up in a cemetery apparently went sour. Devante L. Johnson faces the charge after allegedly stabbing another man while they had sex in a car parked in Oakland Cemetery, The Tallahassee Democrat reports.
Johnson met his victim in the graveyard for sex on 24 June at about 11 pm. According to the vistim, Johnson ‘referred to a former boyfriend of [the victim’s] by name and said no one would have to worry about [the victim] anymore.’ It was then Johnson allegedly stabbed the victim five times.
The victim was able to escape and drive off, before finding a police officer. Police told WTXL-TV that the victim required surgery for both a punctured lung and a lacerated liver.
