Today it is with saddened heart that we need to report that Marcus Arana (known as Holy Old Man Bull), a LGBT+ rights activist who has worked as the Discrimination Investigator and Mediator for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission since 2000, has now fallen upon tough times.
Arana, who has written numerous papers and reports on the plight of the transgender community, is now homeless, sick, and unable to work. Earlier this year he underwent treatment for lymphoma and subsequently a mass has been discovered in his lower intestine.
Now, on top of his already accumulated debt, he needs help to cover his upcoming medical expenditure, which includes travel and treatment.
