Sunday 12 June saw America’s worst gun massacre in recent history when Omar Mateen held the guests of Pulse Nightclub in Florida Hostage. 49 people were killed in the three-hour siege before police stormed the club and shot Mateen. 53 more people were injured.
In tribute I want to do something simple – no analysis, no spin, no anger, just reflection.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the 49 that lost their lives.
Here they are, named so that we can remember and honour them. Rest in power.
