Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Topical Dancer
For easy labelling you could call Topical Dancer an art-pop record. It’s multilingual, electronically elegant socially commentary that stays ridiculously deadpan – all boxes ticked. But it’s also the singular, brilliant vision of long time collaborators Adigéry and Pupul, with little else to even draw comparison to. The moods created – with some absolute bangers on the tracklist – are extraordinarily executed and massive fun.
