Barbie Green, the newest restaurant from the Daisy Green Collection, is now officially open in the heart of the City and diners can grab an opening discount too!
To celebrate the opening, all visitors will receive 30% off their bill (covering food and drink) during Barbie Green’s first week until Sunday 22 December.
Located within the Barbican’s historic London Wall Place, Barbie Green is serving up the Collection’s award-winning all-day offering, including their renowned bottomless Aussie brunch, speciality coffee and their first-ever pizza menu.
The beautiful site features retractable glass windows that open up onto an acre of ancient gardens, offering the perfect place to grab a coffee, quick bite to eat or settle in for an evening meal.
For the first time at the Daisy Green Collection, Barbie Green is serving up an unmissable pizza menu for all to enjoy. Options include the ‘Hot Sausage’ with spicy chorizo, nduja, organic tomatoes, London Mozzarella and lacto-fermented jalapeno hot sauce; ‘The Aussie’, with house-cured leg ham, organic tomatoes, BBQ pineapple, London Mozzarella, Clarence Court egg and pink pickled onions; the vegan ‘Dirty Cauli’ with sticky cauliflower, crispy tofu, sweet & smoky BBQ sauce and cool ranch dressing; and a daily-changing guest special pizza.
The all-day offering includes the Collection’s renowned bottomless brunch, as well as new sharing plates, including the vegan Korean Cauliflower ‘Wings’ with sweet & sticky sauce, sesame and ginger. Daisy Green mainstays will feature prominently to keep loyal customers satisfied, such as their much-loved Halloumi Fries with pomegranate mint yogurt; the Tandoori Roasted Salmon with sweet & spicy crispy rice salad, cucumber, and avocado & herb salsa; and much more.
Adorned with four huge Barbican meets Bondi-inspired artworks by “Bonnie & Clyde” alongside colourful works by Grazie, Shuby and Paul Robinson, Barbie Green combines relaxed, light Australian design with cutting-edge art. With intimate seating for 40 internally and an expansive alfresco terrace, Barbie Green is set to be a truly buzzing, all-day inner City oasis.
Prue Freeman, Founder and Director of the Daisy Green Collection, says: “After a record year of trading, we’re delighted to round out 2019 with a stunning new site in the City, taking us back to 2012 where we started selling our coffee outside The Gherkin building. Our uniquely Australian all-day offering is continuing to defy the well-documented challenges facing the hospitality industry, as Londoners discover, embrace and support their local Daisy Green café more than ever.“
