In the run up to Chelsea Flower Show (24-28 May 2016), The Mews at Sopwell House has devised a Rose Garden Cocktail served in a miniature watering can.
This summer concoction has been created by Head Barman, Oscar Angeloni. He has created a boozy botanical blend of Hendricks Gin, homemade rose syrup, lemon juice and muddled cucumber, topped with soda water. Once the ingredients have been shaken, they are double strained into a mini watering can along with crushed ice. The cocktail is completed with a delicate rose petal garnish.
The Rose Garden Cocktail is available throughout the summer, priced £9.95 per watering can.
About The Mews at Sopwell House
The Mews at Sopwell House has a strong affinity with Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist Ann-Marie Powell. Ann-Marie designed the stunning bespoke gardens at The Mews, which for the first time, will be in full bloom this summer. Nestled deep within the rolling Hertfordshire hills, The Mews at Sopwell House provides understated luxury in a countryside setting.
This brand new, secluded oasis located in the pretty town of St Albans comprises 16 Mews Suites surrounding a stunning botanical garden. An infinity edged hydrotherapy pool with metallic detailing sparkles in the centre of the bespoke garden. The Mews also shares the restaurant and spa facilities of neighbouring Sopwell House, a stunning 18th Century Georgian manor house.
