Fancy a holiday? Why not take a spring break in Montréal? This spring/summer, Montréal will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1976 Summer Olympics, unveiling LUZIA, the Cirque’s new show and making creative connections with Digital Spring. So there’s plenty of fun to be had.
LUZIA, Cirque du soleil’s new show will be premiered on April 21st. The show is inspired by the colour and creativity of Mexican culture. The show promises to be more spectacular than ever – celebrating the elements of light “luz” and rain “lluvia”. The world premiere will take place at Montréal’s Old Port.
If you’re a bit more of a foodie, 23 Montréal restaurants made it on to Canada’s 100 best restaurants list for 2016. One of these restaurants snapped up the number one spot : Toqué! – 900 Place Jean-Paul Riopelle. This restaurant has been around for two decades and remains a firm favourite with locals and tourists, thanks to Chef Normand Laprise’s ingredient focused creations, with an avant-garde twist.
The Montréal tourism blog is a great source of inspiration for things to do on your visit.
