Ketel One Vodka and Drake & Morgan have teamed up with leading eco-friendly specialists KeepCup to curate a sustainable limited-edition cocktail menu inspired by common kitchen leftovers. The new menu, crafted by expert mixologist Kate Jackson, will be available at Refinery Spinningfields, Manchester from Tuesday 30 October.
The Cocktails With Care Cocktail Menu will feature a wide range of ingredients, including ‘wonky’ fruit and vegetables, citrus waste, and syrups crafted using spent coffee and Champagne that’s lost its fizz. Very little goes to waste.
The menu bears in mind the casual waste that goes on all around us. For example, take disposable cups: over one million are discarded in landfill every minute, according to KeepCup.
From 30 October, Ketel One Vodka will give away a limited number of free Espresso Martinis for every KeepCup (at a reduced price of £10 for the cup) purchased at Refinery Spinningfields in Manchester in order to encourage mindful living.
Ketel One: Cocktails with Care Collective takes inspiration from the craftsmanship of Ketel One Vodka with ten generations of Nolet family distilling expertise. The Ketel One distillery is mainly powered by clean energy via a traditional style windmill, and stores the heat from the distilling process to heat the building.
The menu will be available nationwide across selected Drake & Morgan bars.
